Bogdan Grigore — team building facilitator through applied improvisation
founder & lead facilitator, Improvizatie.ro · since 2008
Bogdan Grigore is a facilitator and trainer specialising in team building through applied improvisation in Romania. Since 2008 he has facilitated hundreds of workshops, events and conferences for more than 150 multinational companies. He works with teams that want to have fun and learn something: every game is followed by a debrief that connects the experience to real behaviour at work.
What he actually does
He doesn't sell improvisation. He sells its outcome: experiential team building, with debriefing and transfer into the organisation. The team leaves the meeting room, plays, laughs, gets stuck, figures it out — then sits down and names what just happened. The second part is what still matters months later.
Who it's for
- Organisations looking for team building that combines fun with learning, not just a pleasant day out.
- Newly formed teams, or teams after a reorganisation, that haven't gelled yet.
- Siloed departments that don't communicate well with each other.
- Hybrid and remote teams that rarely meet face to face.
- Senior management teams sceptical about „fun” activities — this is where the debrief matters most.
- Companies that want a continuous learning programme, not one isolated event per year.
- Internal conference organisers who need 150 people to stay awake and engaged.
How he works: experience → play → debrief → insight → application
- Discovery. A conversation about what is actually happening in the team and what needs to be different afterwards. Without it, any game is decorative.
- Design. Exercises are chosen for your objective, not picked off a standard list. Their order builds psychological safety before asking for exposure.
- Play. The team does, rather than listens. Nobody is forced on stage and nobody has to be funny.
- Debrief. After each experience: what happened, what we observed, where you'll see this on Monday morning.
- Application. Challenges between sessions and revisiting themes with different exercises, when we work as a programme rather than a single session.
